America's Justice?

We've all seen her, the Lady of Justice. The concept goes back to ancient times. In many American courthouses today, the Lady Justice wears Greco-Roman garb, carries a sword to reflect her authority over kings and commoners and holds a scale, which will render true justice without passion or prejudice. A noble concept indeed that is compromised and falls short of meeting the objective stated in the last four words of our beloved Pledge of Allegience; "and justice for all."

Jerry Sandusky, Penn State assistant football coach convicted of sexually abusing some sixty underage boys is sentenced to a minimum of 30-years in prison. Penn State is fined $60 million, Penn State's football team banned from Bowl games and have a reduction in football scholarships. A significant number of past football victories are vacated by the NCAA and locals remove a statue of the iconic Coach Joe Paterno. The University President and Athletic Director are forced to step down.

Beloved comedian, Bill Cosby is found guilty of using drugs to seduce and sexually abuse and rape sixty adult women. The 81-year old Cosby is sentenced to 10-years in prison.

Jeffery Epstein is arrested a second time for child molestation and operating a sex trafficking business. In his first arrest, the billionaire pedophile sexually abused 36-under age girls, which resulted in a 13-month prison sentence with the stipulation that Mr. Epstein could leave the prison six days a week and be free 12-hours each day.His victims were never told of Epstein's sweetheart punishment deal.

Let me sum up America's justice system: "Money & Connections TALK, bulls*#t WALKS." Note: We need to do something about those thugs and rapists Mexico is sending us. And what about all those people of color who shoot up banks, school classrooms and concerts? And....
Don't the likes of Colin  Kaepernick and Megan Rapinoe just make you sick with their protesting...by golly "America: Love It or Leave It." What's wrong with people like that? America Is Great Again!
