Our wonderful 'uniter,' President Trump last week told four female Democratic Representatives to "go back to their own countries and fix those catastrophic problems then come back here and tell us how it's done." The minority women singled out are Ocasio-Cortez (NY), Rashida Tlaib (MI), Ilan Omar (MN) and Ayanna Presley (MA). All four duly elected women are of course U. S citizens three of whom were born in America. This makes them as much if not more American than First Lady, Melania Trump.
Actually, Melania might consider returning to her native Slovenia and 'fix' decimated industries, severe poverty, out-of-control road traffic and pollution, which is causing untold illnesses, the growing public discord and the unwillingness of investors to make investments in Slovenia industry.
A racist's words only make sense to another bigoted hater. Sadly, this is America's current journey.
There are many in Trump's base who note the changing racial and ethnic demographics and it scares them to think that dark skinned people will one day make up America's population majority. Yet most of these folks are professed followers of Jesus Christ who was a dark-skinned person with tightly curled hair; a Savior who was crucified for them. Actually, I fear many of Trump's followers believe Christ was a blond-hair, blue-eyed conservative and 'white' Americans are His chosen people not the Jews.
