Aside from the physical aspects in our DNA make no mistake 'goofy' runs in the family. At the CNN sponsored Republican Presidential debate, this question was posed: What woman's face would you wish to replace Alexander Hamilton's face on the ten dollar bill or will it be the face of Andrew Jackson dumped from the twenty dollar bill? Folks, I began listing the American women who are consensus pioneers and undeniable impact leaders in our Nation's great history. The listing exercise became exhausting ! Just the short list is mind-boggling: Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, Eleanor Roosevelt and Susan B. Anthony.
As the television camera scanned the candidates each gave their choice. As I recall, Rosa Parks' was mentioned a few times while some candidates played the 'middle-of-the-road' politically safe card by naming their wife or mother. This was not the case with Jeb Bush...no sir, this mental giant offered the face of the late former Prime Minister of Great Britain, Margaret Thatcher. His logic is understood. I am sure he has the similar gift of the Bush family 'strategery.'
Should President Obama offer the name of a non-American woman to put on our twenty dollar bill, the haters would have a field day and should you not believe that then your DNA is suspect...you might be related to the Bush clan.
