I don't 'Twitter' but I understand many folks do Twitter and a few days ago they were twittering their tweeter off. It was all because the retail giant, Old Navy featured an 'interracial family' photo in a clothing ad. Never mind that the ad offered a 30% discount.
I don't know about you all but I notice many real life interracial relationships. Although, the Deep South had laws banning interracial marriages as recent as the mid-1960's thank God those Bubba brains no longer have such laws and can now worry about the Confederate Flag and the rights of the local baker to not sell cup cakes to Fred and Bill should they be holding hands.
This Old Navy ad backlash by racists bigots is simply another example of the disingenuous phoniness rampant in our Nation. White Americans cheer for their Black athletes to deliver victories as long as the Black athlete does not deliver flowers to their daughters.
Should Old Navy wish to keep these twittering anti-interracial marriage customers coming back to shop, the store needs only to offer that 30% discount on 'Trump For President' T-shirts.
