Praise God for His healing powers through the learned skills and professional services of surgeons, nurses and other healthcare providers. God is good all the time; All the time God is Good!
Gerry was discharged from St. Mary's Hospital of Decatur yesterday mid-afternoon. Doctor surgeon, Jacob Sams performed a total right hip replacement surgery Wednesday morning in a 1-hour time procedure. Later that afternoon he visited Gerry and then he called the hospital at 9PM to check on her condition. He was back in her room making a 7AM Thursday morning evaluation and returned mid-day to inform his patient he was writing discharge orders after a second physical therapy round. The professionalism and genuine caring attitudes of St. Mary's Hospital personnel was phenomenal.
Finally, I would be remiss if I did not thank all those those who sent special message telling me that Gerry was in their thoughts and prayers. Five hundred and seventy-seven family, friends and acquaintances through Facebook blog posting took a moment to whisper my wife's name. Thank you.
