From the Lips of America's President

Last week, Paul Manafort, former campaign manager for Donald Trump was convicted of eight counts of felony. Manafort joins many other Trump associates who have pleaded guilty, been convicted or indicted, i.e., General Michael Flynn, George Papadopoulos, Rick Gates, 13-Russian nationalists and 12- Russian intelligence officers.

This week, Senator John McCain, a former five (5)-year prisoner of war died of brain cancer. McCain was honored for his military service with the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Silver Medal, the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. McCain also served in the United States Congress for over 30-years. All toll, McCain served this country for over sixty-years.

Following are President Trump's personal thoughts about Manafort and McCain:
Manafort: "It is a very sad thing that happened to Paul Manafort (his convictions) he is a good
                          man," stated President Trump.
McCain:   (When asked about McCain's hero status as a five year prisoner of war.) "He's a hero
because he was captured. I like people who weren't captured," said the President of
United States...a tough-talking guy who was the recipient of four (4) college
deferments and one (1) heel bone-Spurs deferment.

It is said that 'words matter' and perhaps it is true, however the absence of words may be equally impacting. That said, Trump's words do not disappoint me but the silence of my congress persons and religious leaders sadden me. "Evil triumphs when good people do nothing." Edmund Burke
