Life in these United States is bizarre, somewhat crazy. Look, before you say something stupid, i.e. "Love it or Leave it" or accuse me of being unpatriotic just stop. I don't make this statement as some niaive old fart lacking experience or exposure. I'll turn seventy-eight this month. I grew up in anything but a puritanical environment. At a very young age East St. Louis boys knew who ran the vending business, how the taxi cabs took the drunks from the claws of the tavern 'B' Girls to the whore houses, which cigar store ran the numbers game, don't mess with 'Poochie' and if you wanted the best Bar-BQ you had to go to the South End (Nichols) where the 'black' operated open pit served up the best. These bar-bq folks were not going to deliver because your grandparents and parents made some ordinance that those (dark) folks could clean our houses but had to be out of the neighborhood at sundown.
Like Farmer's Insurance, I've seen a thing or two! But this gun loving Tea Party group and Donald Trump's leadership is the most frightening thing I ever could imagine.
This President has no compass monitoring common sense rationale. If anybody disagrees with him on ANYTHING he either attacks them or claims the attack on him is 'fake news.' Let's just take one scenario: Trump has stated on more than one occasion that since Arnold Schwarzenegger replaced him as host on the TV show 'The Apprentice' the ratings have "gone into the toilet." Then when someone points out that his 'rating' polls as President (44%) is the all time lowest for a new President, Trumps says, "that's fake news." This type of behavior is unsettling and borderline delusional.
As a Presidential candidate, Trump showed blatant disrespect for a Hispanic judge. Recently, President Trump, angred over a stay issued against his 'travel ban' called the duly appointed Federal judge who issued the order a "so-called judge." That's the language and attitude of a 'dictator.'
His surrogates are required daily to 'clean up' yesterday's Trump statements and are unapologetic calling their slant 'alternative facts.' Not alternative opinions but facts! Folks that's twilight zone crap and you damn well know it.
Just a few days ago, Fox News person, Bill O'Rielly interviewed Trump and said to Trump that Russian President Vladimir Putin "is a killer." Trump said, "We've got a lot of killers, do you think our country is so innocent?" Putin is NOW demanding an apology from Bill O'Rielly for calling Putin a killer. Now tell me American military Generals from World War II until this moment believed that conversation would ever be precipitated by a Commander-in Chief. The man is a fool with absolutely no clue on how to govern.
