Stop by And Visit Sometime

I was disappointed to learn last week that NFL Commissioner, Roger Goodell and NFL team owners opted to met in Boca Rotan, Florida instead of St. Louis, Missouri. After all that group left a pile of crap near the St. Louis Arc that they should clean up. However, I suspect those folks believe that St. Louis would not be a safe place for them so close on the heels of their decision to pretend St. Louis had a real chance to keep the Rams' franchise allowing St. Louis to spend millions against all odds. The NFL ignored St. Louis and voted to move the St. Louis 'Rams' back to Los Angeles. Perhaps the Commissioner and owners feel uneasy about lying to a bunch of simple/unsophisticated Midwesterners.

If in the future the NFL would like to hold its annual team-owners meeting in the Midwest, may I offer an alternate site just across the river from St. Louis. My hometown, East St. Louis can usually accommodate, on short notice, large groups. The NFL brass would find the East St. Louis Casino Queen Hotel to offer all the necessary amenities. The nearby East St. Louis restaraunt's usually have immediate available seating, especially the Four Corners Bar located on Old Missouri Avenue.

For late night fun the close in town of Sauget, Illinois offers neat and exotic entertainment. For directions to the latter, check with your L A Rams players.
